\nAE94.2 turbines offer fast start capability, extreme operation simplicity and superior fuel flexibility<\/strong> (2 minutes gas-to-oil and oil-to-gas fuel switchover).
\nThey can be profitably used in simple or Combined Cycle, for base or peak load, when grid conditions are severe and in areas where power generation is based on alternative fuels<\/strong>.
\nThe special AE94.2K<\/strong> version is specifically designed for burning low- and very low-BTU gases from steel mill or refinery processes.

The AE94.2 gas turbine is a benchmark for both operational and fuel flexibility.<\/span><\/span>Its high cycling capability, combined with fast start up and high ramp rates, makes it suitable for peak plants, grid support and dead power grid energization as well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fuel diversification<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For normal operation it is possible to use up to 40% of hydrogen in fuel gas blends, but the AE94.2 can burn also non conventional fuels (i.e. naphtha, crude and heavy fuel oil, hydrogen rich fuels, coal gases) as well liquid green fuels such as HVO, Methanol and Ethanol.<\/span><\/span>Its special \u201cversion K\u201d, specifically designed for low and very low BTU fuels, can manage a very wide range of syngas, well gases, coal gases<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\u00a0With more than 120 units installed worldwide and 9 millions of operating hours cumulative through different fuels and load regimes, the AE94.2 shows excellent record of robustness, operational reliability and durability.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Environmentally sustainable <\/span><\/span><\/span>NOx level down to <\/span>15 ppm in dry gas mode <\/span>and <\/span>75 ppm in dry oil mode <\/span>(with possibility to reach <\/span>25 ppm <\/span>with small water amount).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
